• Cannon played in four AVP semifinals by the end of the 2021 season, and each time it came in the first event of a new partnership. Then in 2022 she reunited with Sara Hughes and they made the semifinals in five of seven tournaments.

2022: Cannon began playing with Sarah Sponcil on the AVP Tour, winning in their second tournament together in Hermosa Beach. They also finished second once and third twice. Internationally they played 10 times, winning one silver and one bronze medal.

2021: Cannon placed third with Molly Turner in the first AVP event, then teamed with Emily Stockman and finished 13th, before returning to Turner for a seventh place finish in the third and final AVP tournament of the year. On the AVP Tour Cannon ranked third in aces (0.71 per set) and 10th in blocks (0.71 per set). Cannon played 10 international tournaments with six different partners. She began the year playing five times with Kelly Reeves, losing in the country quota each time. She then played with Kimberly Hildreth and Corinne Quiggle before winning three straight medals to end the year. Cannon won a silver medal with Turner, a gold with Delaney Mewhirter, and a bronze with Sara Hughes. 

2020: Cannon and Kelly Reeves played in all three AVP events in Long Beach, but did not advance from the qualifier in any of them. Cannon played twice internationally, placing 25th with Sara Hughes and then winning a silver medal in Cambodia with Reeves, losing to Hughes in the title match.

2019: Cannon began the year with a third place finish with Irene Pollock. The pair played four times together on the AVP, and in their last outing had earned the number two seed. Cannon ended the year playing three times with Kelly Reeves, beginning with a third place finish in the Manhattan Beach Open. She ended the year ranked seventh in aces (0.75 per set) and seventh in hitting percentage (.455). Cannon and Pollock also played twice on the FIVB Tour, finishing ninth in a two-star and a three-star event.

2018: Cannon played in seven AVP tournaments with four different partners. She played twice with both Corinne Quiggle and Jace Pardon, advancing from the qualifier in one of those four events. She played once with Nicolette Martin, finishing 17th. Then for the final two events she paired with Sarah Sponcil, and in their first outing they advance from the qualifier all the way to the semifinals. On the weekend they won seven elimination matches (two in qualifier, five in contender's bracket), and their only losses were to the teams seeded first and second. Cannon ranked third on the AVP in both blocks (1.22 per set) and kills (7.46 per set).

2017: Cannon played one AVP qualifier with Josephine Kremer, then partnered with Nicolette Martin. The duo played in four AVP events with a best of seventh place.

2016: Cannon made her AVP debut in Manhattan Beach with Josephine Kremer, who was a teammate of hers on USC's beach volleyball team. The pair lost in the match to get into the main draw in three sets, losing 15-13 in the third, losing to two other USC teammates, Nicolette Martin and Allie Wheeler.

College: Cannon played her freshman season indoors at Georgetown University, where she led the team in kills and points, and was third in blocks. She then transferred to Southern Cal to play beach volleyball. As a sophomore she had a 15-3 record at the No. 5 position, and USC won the NCAA Championship. Cannon was 42-10 as a junior, mostly with Nicolette Martin at the No. 3 spot. She scored the final kill in the NCAA Championship match against Pepperdine to clinch the title for USC. In her senior season she tallied a 31-9 record, mostly with Sammy Slater at the No. 2 spot. Cannon again teamed with Slater as a graduate student, posting a 24-9 mark at the No. 2 position as the Trojans again advanced to the National Championship match.
