2025: Hodel finished fifth with Teegan Van Gunst and ninth with Kylie Deberg in her two AVP events. Hodel played 10 World Tour events. She advanced from the qualifier to place 17th with Madison Shields, then played three tournaments with Deahna Kraft with a best of ninth twice. Hodel and Kylie Deberg played six times, having to play in the qualifier in five of those. The duo placed 13th in an Elite event and fifth in a Challenge event.

2024: Hodel and Kahlee York played five AVP events together, getting a second and a pair of fifths in Tour Series events. The duo then finished 17th in Manhattan Beach and ninth in Chicago. Internationally Hodel played a pair of Futures events, placing fifth with Jade Race and winning gold with Kimberly Hildreth in Pompano Beach, a tournament which saw an all-USA podium. Hodel joined forces with 20-year old Alexis Durish, who had never competed in a pro beach volleyball tournament, and despite being seeded 12th won a gold medal in a NORCECA event in the Dominican Republic.

2023: Hodel played five AVP tournaments with three different partners. She began the year losing in a qualifier with Allie Wheeler, then placed fifth and ninth in Tour Series events with Kahlee York. Hodel and York placed 13th in Atlanta before ending the year with a loss in the qualifiers alongside Delaynie Maple. Hodel and Iya Lindahl won a silver medal in a Futures event in Egypt.

2022: Hodel played two AVP events with Kimberly Hildreth, with a best of seventh in Hermosa Beach, then lost in the qualifier in Manhattan Beach with Kim DiCello. Hodel and Hailey Harward played in three World Tour events, losing twice in the qualifier and in a Challenge event in Dubai placed fifth.

2021: Hodel played one AVP qualifier in Manhattan Beach with college partner Kate Reilly, and played consecutive matches against twins. Hodel and Reilly competed in the FIVB U-19 World Championships in Thailand, finishing in fourth place.

2020: Did not compete.

2019: Shortly after turning 17 Hodel played in an AVP qualifier with Jacinda Ramirez. 

College: As a freshman playing beach volleyball at Stanford, Hodel registered 22 wins (22-11) with Sunny Villapando, just one shy of the single season mark at the school, and was named AVCA First Team All-American. Hodel again won 22 times (22-11) as a sophomore, mostly on court one with Kate Reilly, and was an AVCA Second Team All-American. In her junior season Hodel partnered mostly with Maddi Kriz on court one, finishing with a 20-7 match record and garnering AVCA Second Team All-America honors again. Hodel and Brooke Rockwell finished with a 26-10 record on court one and Hodel was selected as an AVCA First Team All-American. Hodel ended her collegiate career with a 90-43 record, having the second most individual wins in program history.

Personal: Both of Hodel's parents competed in track and field in college, with her father Greg at UCLA and her mother Peggy Odita at Stanford, winning the Pac-10 in heptathlon. She has a younger brother, Xander. In high school Hodel earned 11 letters in five different sports (beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, basketball, track and soccer). Hodel was in a TV commercial at the age of two, and appeared in a Pepsi Super Bowl ad in 2015.
