Bio Bits

Chapman's best domestic finish was a 1999 seventh at Huntington Beach with Greg Ryan. Chapman and Ryan posted a pair has two “final four” finishes in international challenger events, including a second and a third in a pair of Switzerland events in 1998. Chapman played a season of indoor volleyball in Austria (1996-97) where his team won the league and national title. He graduated in 1996 from Cal-Santa Barbara where he was an ASICS All-American as a senior. Chapman graduated from Palisades High (Calif.) School in 1991. Chapman, who is a fashion model, started playing beach volleyball in 1990. His hobbies are music, arts, philosophy and traveling.
