2022: Davis has partnered with Teegan Van Gunst on the AVP and they have six top 10 finishes including a second in Atlantic City and a third in Virginia Beach.
2021: Davis competed in six FIVBs including earning a fifth and a ninth with Sarah Schermerhorn and two ninth place finishes with Kim Hildreth.
2020: Davis competed in one FIVB in Cambodia with Allie Wheeler coming through the qualifier to finish ninth. Later that year she had her third daughter, Lakey.
2019: Davis had her second daughter Kalani and competed in her first AVP qualifier back at seven weeks postpartum. She qualified two out of four times that season. She also won her first NORCECA event with Allie Wheeler.
2018: Davis earned her first FIVB Gold medal in Bangkok, Thailand where she and her partner Bree Scarbrough were the last seed in the qualifier. The duo then competed in Jinjiang, China as the 14th seed in the qualifier and finished with a fourth place. On the AVP she competed with Bree Scarbrough and earned three top ten finishes.
2017: Davis competed once with Pri Lima and seven times with Bree Scarbrough, with her best finishes being two ninth places.
2016: Davis qualified for her first AVP back at four months postpartum. She earned three 13th place finishes, one with Traci Callahan and two with Bree Scarbrough.
2015: Davis competed in AVP New Orleans while pregnant and later that year had her first daughter Kalohe.
2014: Davis competed in her first full season on the AVP Tour with partner Kelly Schumacher, qualifying in five out of six attempts with three top ten finishes. CBS Sports recognized her as the “2014 Newcomer of the Year on the AVP.” She was selected as a member of the U26 National Beach team to represent the USA in Portugal at the FISU World University Games where she placed fifth with partner Angela Bensend.
2013: Davis qualified with Jace Pardon at the Manhattan Beach Open and went on to finish 17th.
2010: Davis played in her first AVP qualifier at 18 years old falling in the first round.

College: Davis began her collegiate career at State College of Florida where she led the country in kills and aces, was named the Suncoast Conference Player of the Year, All-American honorable mention, and was inducted into the SCF Hall of Fame. After her two years at State College of Florida she became one of the first players in the country to earn a scholarship to play beach volleyball for a Division I college. Attending Florida State, she was team captain for all three of her years and became a two-time AVCA All-American and two-time team MVP. In Aurora’s senior year at Florida State she joined the indoor team as a defensive specialist and they made it to the sweet sixteen. In her senior year on the beach she helped lead her team to runner ups in the National Championship. She holds the records for most overall wins in a single season, best overall winning percentage (.911) in a single season and most tournament wins overall.

Personal: Originally Aurora Newgard, she married her best friend Josh Davis in 2012. They met playing in a coed beach volleyball tournament against each other. They have three daughters, Kalohe, Kalani, and Lakey. Her parents Frank and Glenda Newgard played beach volleyball for fun and built beach courts in their backyard when Aurora was young. Davis has three brothers, Frank, Sage, and Chance. Sage plays beach volleyball as well and Aurora and Sage placed 3rd in a men's open tournament together. Aurora has played either an AVP or an FIVB tournament while pregnant with each of her kids.
