Jason Lee, known on the beach as "J Lee", was born in Southern California and has followed his father's footsteps to the beach, playing volleyball since he was nine. A four-year starter at Loyola Marymount, Lee was ranked in the top five nationally in digs in 1999 and 2000. Jason helped lead the Lions in 2000, when LMU finished sixth in the nation after upsetting #1 ranked Long Beach State. He teamed with Olympian Reid Priddy and the rest of the Lions to take them to the highest national ranking in the history of the university.
J Lee has found increasing success on the AVP CROCS Tour, establishing himself as one of the prospective players to keep an eye on. Lee has continued to show ambition and has proven himself as a mainstay player of professional beach volleyball.
In the off-season, Lee coaches volleyball at Pacifica Christian High in Santa Monica, and helps his wife Karen manage a modeling agency, The Perfect Fit. They live in Venice with their darling new baby boy, Hudson Matthew Lee.
