Bio Bits

College: Muagututia played both football and volleyball at Stanford. He was a defensive back for two seasons (2010-2011) when the Cardinal went a combined 23-3 over that span, beginning as a walk-on but earning a scholarship.  As a freshman he played on the NCAA National Championship volleyball team, seeing action in 14 of the 30 matches.

Personal: Muagututia's father, Faauuga, competed for American Samoa in the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics in Bobsleigh while his mother, Kathleen, played volleyball at UC-Riverside. He has two older brothers, Grant and Garrett, who played volleyball at UCLA.
