College: Pyles played four years indoors at Nova Southeastern University, starting as a setter all four years. She ended her career with 3,703 assists, the second most in the school's history, and ranked in the top 10 in career aces and digs. Pyles ended her collegiate career by playing one season of beach volleyball at Grand Canyon University, finishing with a 13-15 record.

Personal: Pyles' mother, Linda, played volleyball and ran track & field at Western State University. She has two siblings, Carly and Cassie.
