Indoor: Hildebrand joined the U.S. National Team in 2005 and was an alternate for the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. She was part of the team which won the 2014 World Championships under coach Karch Kiraly, marking the U.S.A. women's first ever such title. She has played professionally for eight seasons in Russia, Turkey, Italy, Azerbaijan and Brazil.
College: Hildebrand was an outside hitter at Stanford, where she won the National Championship in 2004. Her accolades include being selected the Volleyball magazine National Freshman of the Year and twicean AVCA All-American. She left the school as the all-time leader in digs, fifth in kills, and tied for fifth in aces.

Personal: Formerly Kristin Richards, she grew up in a volleyball family and started playing organized volleyball at the age of eight. Her father, Dave, played for BYU and on the U.S. National Team from 1978-80 and her mother, Lauren, played at BYU and coached at Utah Valley State. Hildebrand has a sister, Lauren, who played at BYU, coaches at American University, and married Taylor Evans, who was a member of BYU's National Championship team. She also has two brothers, Andrew and Taylor. In high school she was the 2003 National Gatorade Player of the Year. In September 2012 she married pro beach volleyball player and coach Tyler Hildebrand.
