Statsvich graduated from Kennesaw State University. His father, Mark, was a competitive spring board diver at Ferris State University. He has a younger sister, Olivia, who played beach volleyball at Georgia State. Stasevich and his sister both made their AVP debuts in the same tournament (Atlanta 2021), and they often compete together in co-ed grass tournaments.
