Bio Bits

Won state high school championship (in 1992) as a middle blocker. Played four years at Akron as a middle blocker, leading the conference in blocks per game in 1995. Named all-tournament in the 1995 MAC conference tournament.

Graduated in nursing, then went overseas to Austria and played professionally indoors. Moved to California in 2000 to pursue a beach volleyball career. Currently coaches at New Roads High School in Santa Monica as well as with Elite Volleyball Club in West Hills.

Has an older sister, Gina, who also played high school volleyball. Lisa was the team manager for Gina's junior high team, getting her interested in the sport.
