College: McKibbin is a setter at Southern Cal.

Personal: McKibbin comes from a long line of volleyball-playing relatives. His mother, Diana McInerny McKibbin, played volleyball at Hawai'i. His uncle, Owen, played for Southern Cal including on two national runner-up teams, and his aunt, Cladia, played at USC and won a national championship. His brother Riley was a setter at USC, while his other brother Maddison was an outside hitter at USC. Both of them played on national runner-up teams and both currently play as teammates on the AVP Tour. McKibbin's high school team won the state championship each of his last two years, and he was a member of Volleyball Magazine's Fab 50 list.
