Bio Bits

Competed in three U21 FIVB World Championships, placing fifth in 2001.  In 2004 partnered with younger brother Mark to qualify for the main draw of the FIVB event in Puerto Rico.  At the time, they were the youngest men's team to qualify for an FIVB main draw.  In 2009 married fellow beach volleyball player Kendra Jackson adding to the list of beach volleyball players in the VanZwieten family including older brother Jim and his wife Franci, and younger brothers Mark and Drew.
