Bio Bits

Patterson advanced to his first semifinal in Brooklyn in 2009 with partner Ty Loomis, and they came through the contender's bracket and defeated each of the tournament's top four seeds in collecting his first title.

Patterson played at BYU, where he was chosen for a pair of all-tournament teams. He graduated with a degree in Recreational Management, then played professionally in Puerto Rico. Patterson is married (Lexi), and they had a son, Cash, born in June 2009.
