2007 marked Angela Lewis' fourth year on the AVP Crocs Tour. She and regular season partner Priscilla Lima had a Cinderella season in '07, rising in the ranks of women's professional beach volleyball. She placed among the top 10 finishers at 11 AVP tournaments in 2007, with a pair of fifth-place finishes. They ended the 2007 season as the ninth-ranked team.
In 2008 Lewis played the first two events with Sarah Straton, then finished the year with Lima. The duo had a best of fifth. Lewis played with three different partners in 2009; Alicia Polzin, Keao Burdine and Diane Pascua. Lewis began the 2010 season playing with Raquel Caulkins for two events before reuniting with Lima.
Lewis played at Sacramento State, where she received a degree in Graphic Design. Upon graduation she left the school ranked second in career digs and fifth in kills. As a sophomore she was named to the conference all-academic team, while her next two years she was selected to the all-Big Sky team.
