After starting her Beach Volleyball career in 2001, Larissa began collecting medals in 2003 when she teamed with Ana Richa. While participating in four SWATCH-FIVB World Tour events, including a 17th at the 2003 SWATCH-FIVB World Championships, Larissa and Ana Richa captured a bronze medal at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo. During 2003, Larissa and Ana Richa also won a Brazilian domestic event and finished third in the team rankings behind Athens Olympians Adriana Behar/Shelda Bede and Ana Paula Connelly/Sandra Pires.
Larissa and Juliana Felisberta Silva collected a SWATCH medal in their first-ever international event together in March 2004 at Fortaleza where they had to play country quota and qualifying matches to gain a berth in the Main Draw where they defeated Chinese Olympians Tian Jia and Wang Fei for the bronze medal. Their only defeats in the tournament were to Athens Olympic finalists Misty May-Treanor/Kerri Walsh of the United States and Brazilian rivals Adriana Behar and Shelda Bede.
Only May-Treanor and Walsh have stood in the way of Larissa and Juliana's complete domination on the 2005 SWATCH-FIVB World Tour. Larissa and Juliana set a SWATCH-FIVB World Tour record for single-season earnings for both men and women teams with $409,750 in winnings in 2005 as the pair claimed six gold medals and 14 podium placements in 15 international starts. May-Treanor and Walsh won six international starts in 2005 with four gold medal wins over Larissa and Juliana in Berlin, Paris, Salvador and Cape Town. Larissa and Juliana posted their first-ever win over May-Treanor and Walsh in the finals of the 2005 Corona Mexico Open in Acapulco. Entering the 2006 SWATCH season, Larissa and Juliana have earned $533,750 together in only 25 events with seven gold medal finishes and 18 podium placements. The earning total is the fourth-best women’s career total since the start of the women’s SWATCH-FIVB World Tour in 1992.
The highlight of Larissa and Juliana's first season on the SWATCH-FIVB World Tour was a gold medal at the 2004 Mallorca event where the Brazilians defeated German Olympians Suzanne Lahme and Danja Musch in the finals. While the Mallorca win was Larissa’s first, Juliana had captured a SWATCH-FIVB World Championship for players under 21 in Catania, Italy when she teamed with Taiana Lima to win the 2002 crown.
On the Brazilian domestic tour, Larissa and Juliana won the point's title in 2005 after finishing second to Adriana and Shelda in 2004. Larissa and Juliana also placed behind Adriana and Shelda on the SWATCH points standings inj 2004. Through the first-half of the Brazilian domestic season in 2006 season, Larissa and Juliana have compiled 29-1 domestic mark in six starts. The pair has won 14 Circuito Banco do Brasil gold medal since the start of the 2005 domestic season. In 18 domestic events since March 2005, Larissa and Juliana have an 87-5 match mark.
Larissa started playing Volleyball in 1997 and helped her club to capture a Brazilian title in 2000.
She switched to Beach Volleyball in 2001 and entered the rankings within six months.
