Bio Bits

College: Friesen played four years of indoor volleyball at Western Kentucky, where she helped her team to three NCAA Tournament appearances. She left the school ranked third in career hitting percentage and fourth in total blocks. Friesen then transferred to Hawai'i and played one season of beach volleyball.

Personal: Formerly Heather Boyan, in 2018 she married Isaac Friesen, who played baseball at Hawai'i.
