College: Williams began her collegiate career at El Camino College, where she was an outside hitter for two seasons indoors and also played two years of beach volleyball. She then transferred to Cal State Northridge, where she was an outside hitter for two years.

Personal: Williams was born in Jamaica, and has three sisters, Sandrene, Abigail and Olivia.
