College: Civiero played four years of indoor volleyball at Rollins College in Florida as an outside hitter. She was second on the team in kills as a freshman, and led the team each of the other years. As a junior she was third in the conference in kills per set, and was named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American. Civiero was third in the conference in kills per set again as a senior before her season ended due to injury. She ended her indoor career with 1,359 kills and 999 digs. Civiero played one season of beach volleyball at the University of Tampa as a grad student, finishing with a 6-7 match record on court two.
Personal: Civiero has three brothers, Drew, Jesse and Luke. In high school Civiero's team won back-to-back state titles while going 62-0 her final two years. The team was ranked No. 1 in the nation.
