College: Kryeziu played indoors at Montreat College in North Carolina. As a senior she was chosen as the conference player of the year and she had over 1,000 kills in her career.

Personal: Kryeziu, who goes by AK, was born in Prishtina, Kosovo. Her family spent time living in both Kosovo and the United States, and she began playing volleyball at the age of 12 in Kosovo. She played for Kosovo's Junior National Team. She has an older sister, Era, who played volleyball at St. Andrews University a conference rival of Montreat's.
