College: Hope began her career at Oregon, where she redshirted her freshman season indoors. She played beach volleyball as a freshman, going 19-12 primarily with Brooke Nuneviller on court one. As a sophomore she played six matches indoors, then redshirted the following season. Hope then transferred to UCLA to play beach volleyball, where she went 2-0 in her first season there.
Personal: Hope has one younger brother, Micah. Her high school team won three consecutive state titles and she ended her career with 1,568 kills, 761 digs, 209 aces and a .363 hitting percentage. A three-time first-team all-state player, she was the No. 21 ranked recruit nationally by PrepVolleyball. Hope began playing beach volleyball during her junior year of high school.
