College: Pierce began her collegiate career at Southern Miss, where she played two seasons of beach volleyball. As a freshman she played mostly on court three and also on court four, ending with a 12-23 mark. All but 10 of the matches came alongside Olivia Hepworth. In her sophomore season Pierce played mostly on court two, splitting time with Kellie Garraway and Hallie Phelan.  Pierce then transferred to North Florida, where she played alongside Michaela Rezentes and ended with an 18-15 record in her junior season, mostly on court one. As a senior she split time with Cameron Humphries and Andrea Silva, ending with a 25-10 record with a majority of matches coming on court three.

Personal: Pierce has one brother, Tyler. She earned four letters in volleyball in high school, ending with 1,448 kills, 1,415 digs, 68 blocks and 127 aces.
