Beach Bits:
• Spieler has been eliminated from four AVP qualifiers in her career, and all of those losses were three-set matches.

2018: Spieler continued her partnership with Cook, starting off the AVP season with a third place finish. The duo played seven tournaments together, finishing below seventh just once. Spieler ranked third on the Tour in digs (5.79 per set). Cook played once on the FIVB Tour with Cook, finishing 33rd.
2017: Spieler played one AVP event with Amanda Wiggins, finishing 13th, and six times with Karissa Cook, with a best of ninth three times. Cook tied for 10th in aces (.74 per set) and was ninth in kills (6.71 per set).
2016: Spieler played just one AVP event, advancing from the qualifier in Chicago with Karissa Cook to finish seventh. Spieler ended the year ranked fourth in digs (6.16 per set).
2015: Spieler and Knudsen played in two AVP events, getting eliminated in the qualifier once and finishing 17th in the other.
2014: At the age of 19, Spieler made her pro beach volleyball debut in Manhattan Beach with Delaney Knudsen. Seeded 27th in the qualifier, the pair advanced to the main draw and finished 25th.

College:  Spieler played beach volleyball four years at Hawai'i. As a sophomore she was named AVCA All-American and advanced to the quarterfinals of the AVCA Pairs National Championship with partner Nikki Taylor. As a senior she was again chosen as an AVCA All-American. Spieler left Hawai'i as the school's all-time leader in wins (102), having won 71.2% of her matches. In each of her last two years at UH she had the highest GPA amongst student-athletes. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in only three years then earned an accelerated Master's Degree in Accounting. She subsequently passed the CPA exam.

Personal: Spieler has twin aunts, both of whom played volleyball in college as well as professionally on the beach. Lisa Strand-Ma'a, played volleyball at Hawai'i while Kelly (Strand) Van Winden played at Cal Poly, where she left the school third in all-time aces and third in kills per set. Spieler's high school team advanced to the state semifinals twice.
