College: Sparks played beach volleyball at UCLA, going 33-2 as a freshman, mostly with Izzy Carey on court five. UCLA won the national championship that season as Sparks went 9-0 in the postseason. In 2020 she went 12-3 with Lexy Denaburg before the season was cut short due to COVID. The following year she partnered with three different players and compiled a 24-6 record, mostly on court three. After redshirting for two seasons due to injury Sparks played one season of beach volleyball at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she finished with a 19-5 record on court three with Quinn Perry.
Personal: Sparks has two younger sisters, Emily and Dani. In high school she led her team to a state championship and was also an AVCA High School Beach First Team All-American. Along with Abby Van Winkle she became part of the first team to win the triple crown of beach volleyball (Best of the Beach, AAU Nationals and AAU Junior Olympics).
