Bio Bits

Schermerhorn was a middle blocker at Elon College, ending her career with 1,023 kills and 381 blocks, which was the fourth most in school history as a Division I program.  Following graduation she played professionally in Denmark and France.  Schermerhorn's brother Mason played tennis for Elon, helping the team to a conference championship.  As a junior Schermerhorn had the highest GPA of any junior or senior female athlete at Elon, and graduated with a 3.97 GPA.
