Beach Bits:
• When making her pro beach volleyball debut in Muskegon 2022, Wood became the youngest player (male or female) to advance from the qualifier into an AVP main draw. She was 14 years, 1 month and 16 days old, and eclipsed the previous record by over two years.

• Wood later became the youngest player to play in an AVP Gold Series event at the age of 15 in the 2023 Hermosa Beach Open.

• In 2024 Wood and partner Ashley Pater became the youngest team (16 and 18 years old) to make an AVP final in the Denver Open and followed that up with a third place finish at the AVP Waupaca the following week.

Personal: Wood began playing beach volleyball at the age of seven and won her first Women's Open event at the age of 12. Her parents (Greg and Krista) both played volleyball and are still active in coaching today. Wood has two sisters, Maddie, who plays volleyball at the University of Tampa, and Lauren, who attends Arizona State. In 2024 Wood and her partner Sally Perez won the USA Volleyball U19 Trials and will be representing the United States in the U19 World Championships in Shanglou, China in September 2024.
