College:  Wieczorek redshirted one season and then became a four-year starter at Pepperdine.  As a freshman he ranked 19th in the country in hitting percentage (.344) and was named to the league's All-Freshman team.  He was an AVCA All-American Honorable Mention as a sophomore, and ended ninth in the country in kills per set (3.86) and 12th in points per set (4.38).  Wieczorek was named AVCA All-American Second Team as a junior, and was chosen as the MPSF Player of the Year.  He set the school record for aces per set (.57).  He finished the year third nationally in aces per set, fourth in kills per set (4.00) and 17th nationally in hitting percentage (.349).  His senior season culminated with an AVCA All-American First Team selection as well as again being named the MPSF Player of the Year.  He ranked ninth in the country in kills (per set (3.86) and points (4.55), 15th in hitting percentage (.371) and 22nd in aces per set (.39). Wieczorek left Pepperdine with 1,300 career kills (12th most in program history) while hitting .356 and also had 133 aces (sixth most in school history).

Personal: Wiecorzek has one sister, Vicky. He was a member of the 2014 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 list.  He had 1,263 kills in high school, the sixth most in Illinois state history, and 138 aces, the 15th most.  As a senior his 542 kills was the 10th most in a single season in state history.  Following graduation from Pepperdine Wieczorek competed for two seasons with the U.S. National Team indoors.
