College: Bergner played beach volleyball at Florida State. She redshirted her first season and then did not compete in any matches in her first eligible year. As a sophomore she went 2-0, then as a junior was 2-1. Bergner had a 5-2 match record as a senior.

Personal: Bergner has a twin sister, Arianna. She played beach volleyball in high school, and was the Conference Female Performer of the Year in 2019.Competing with her sister, she won the inaugural Southern State Athletic Conference National Championship in their senior year.
