• After qualifying for the main draw twice in her first 13 events, Burdine has yet to miss a main draw since.
• Keao has Samoan, Hawaiian and Norwegian heritage, and her name means "morning rainbow" in Hawaiian.

2008: Started the year with Hochevar, with a best of ninth in four tournaments. For the final seven events Burdine paired with Jennifer Snyder, with a ninth place finish in their first outing and once more during the season.
2007: Played in 15 events with five different partners, including seven with Brittany Hochevar. Tied her career best of ninth with Nancy Mason, then again with Hochevar. In her season finale in Cincinnati, Burdine won four straight contender's bracket matches with Hochevar to place fifth, including defeating three teams seeded 11th or higher.
2006: Formed a partnership with former USC teammate April Ross, playing in 13 events with a best of ninth in consecutive events. In those two events, they defeated three teams seeded in the top 10. The duo advanced from the qualifier in four of seven tournaments, and were seeded directly into the main draw in the others.
2005: Burdine began the year playing in three qualifiers with two different partners, including a pair of events with Zartman. Then she partnered with Tiffany Rodriguez, advancing to her first main draw in Hermosa Beach, placing 25th. Closed the year with two more events with Rodriguez, both ending in the qualifier.
2004: Played in two qualifiers with Claire Robertson, both times losing in the match to get into the main draw.
2003: In her first pro beach event, Burdine played in a qualifier in San Diego with Natasha Nguyen.
2002: Burdine competed in the FIVB Under 21 Junior World Championships in Italy with Chrissy Zartman, placing fifth.

College: Burdine was a four-year starter at USC, where she led the team to a 114-11 combined mark, including an NCAA record 52-match winning streak. A two-time All-American, she became the first player to solely be named NCAA Championship MVP twice (2002 and 2003) as USC won a pair of national championships while she was there.

Personal: Burdine comes from a volleyball family, as both parents played and now coach high school volleyball. She has two brothers and two sisters, all of whom play volleyball and her brother Kawika played at UCSB. She was a "Fab 50" selection who was on her high school's honor roll all four years. Both prior to her senior season as well as following it, she was a member of the USA Junior National Team. Following her freshman season in college she trained with the USA A2 Women's National Phase II Team. For two years she trained with the USA A2 Women's National Team. Burdine played professionally indoors in Puerto Rico in 2006 and 2007, and in Turkey in 2008.
