Bio Bits

Ammerman, a setter at Cal Irvine, redshirted his freshman season (2005). His high school team did not have volleyball but he earned all-tournament honors as his club team finished as the runner-up in the 2003 Junior Olympics. Volleyball Magazine labeled him as one of the "Top 25 Underclassmen to Watch." Ammerman was the MVP of the USA Developmental Camp in 2003 and an alternate for the USA Youth National Team.
