Beach Bits: • In her first career main draw, in Hermosa Beach in 2019, Jones along with Susannah Muno qualified as the 47th seeds, tying for the fifth lowest seeded team to advance to the main draw in AVP history. Then as the 24th-seeded main draw team, became the lowest seeded team in AVP history to reach the semifinals, placing third.
2019: Jones teamed with Susannah Muno to play in five AVP tournaments. the pair were eliminated in the qualifier in their first event, but in their second outing in Hermosa Beach, they won four qualifying matches to reach the main draw and placed third. Since they lost their first round match, Jones and Muno had to win nine elimination matches (four in the qualifier, five in the contender's bracket) tin order to secure their third place finish. The duo placed ninth in each of their last three events. She ended the year ranked sixth on the Tour in blocks (1.20 per set). 2014: Jones and Susannah Muno placed fifth at the FIVB Under 19 World Championships in Portugal.
College: Jones played four seasons as an outside hitter at Washington. As a junior she was selected as an AVCA All-America Second Team member. She also played three years of beach volleyball at Washington, becoming UW's first ever All-Pac-12 First Team beach player. After redshirting her final beach season at UW, she transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for one more year of beach volleyball. At Cal Poly she compiled a 24-7 match record, mostly playing at the number one position.
Personal: Both of Jones' parents played basketball in college, as her dad Derek played at Cal State Fullerton and her mom Stephanie played at Boise State. She has an older brother, Joel, and a younger brother, Jadon. In high school Jones as named the 2011 ESPNHS National Sophomore of the Year, and as a senior she was a consensus All-American and one of the nation's top recruits. She led her high school team to a state runner-up finish.
